My girlfriend is getting to be high maintenance
Her brakes are getting more difficult to engage while biking downhill and it’s starting to affect my wrists. Also, something is causing friction between the chain and the gears and it just didn’t feel right when was riding her today. I just paid for a tune-up last month, so I’m hoping it’s nothing too serious. I think I’m going to spend the night cleaning her up...

Dear Nick,
After last night I would love for you to send me some of your dance music. Particularly songs that make my head bob and inspire me to fist pump while dancing. If you could make that happen, I’d be down for cooking dinner for you sometime. Just sayin’

We’re trying to pull a group together to go this Saturday night in JP. It’s going to be fun and you don’t need to have experience to join in! Wanna come with??

Baking quiche, steaming edamame, and...
setting off the fire alarm, twice. edit: I’m feeling proud of myself. This spinach, mushroom, onion, goat cheese quiche with a whole wheat crust is divine, especially considering how easy it was to make.

U.S. Passport Applications to Say “Parent” and... →
apsies: On December 22, the State Department announced that they would be changing the U.S. passport application to say “Parent” and “Parent” rather than “Mother” and “Father.” Many of you may have played a part in making this happen: After running into the Mother/Father problem while completing a passport application for my son back in July, I started a petition over at Change.org, ...

I’m never going to get out of this airport in Greenville, SC. I’ve been here since 6am. My flight has been delayed due to mechanical problems, which they are taking forever to sort out. This is just annoying now.
