London Cycle Map Wins GeoVation Award
Cycle Lifestyle’s London Cycle Map a bicycle map of London designed by Simon Parker in the style of Beck’s tube map, is one of six winners of the 2011 GeoVation challenge. The award came with £6,000 in funding. Here’s a list of all the GeoVation award winners.

We need your help in mapping the gender neutral bathrooms on NU’s campus! This will serve as a tool for students, faculty, and staff to locate single-stall gender neutral bathrooms that allow them to use the restroom without feeling uncomfortable or threatened by having to choose between the men’s or women’s rooms. BPL's opening a room devoted to maps!
This Fall (2011) “200,000 historic maps, 5,000 atlases, and a host of other materials, from 200-year-old geography primers to antique board games and globes” can be accessed by visitors. Sweet, thank you, Boston Public Library.
